User Journey
I mapped out the typical e-commerce journey, from discovering the app to completing a purchase:
Onboarding & Login – Ensure users can create or access their accounts easily
Browsing & Searching – Improve filtering, navigation, and category hierarchy
Product Detail View – Focus on large imagery, clear sizing info, and simplified actions
Cart & Checkout – Streamline steps, eliminate friction, and reduce cognitive load
Order Confirmation & Tracking – Provide reassurance and easy access to delivery updates
The redesign prioritized intuitive flows and a minimalist visual system that aligns with the YoungLA brand identity.
Visual Redesign
I redesigned the interface with a modern, bold aesthetic that reflects the brand’s streetwear vibe. Key improvements included:
Cleaner layouts with better use of white space
Simplified bottom navigation for quicker access to key areas
Updated typography and iconography for visual consistency
Improved hierarchy and visibility of CTAs like “Add to Cart” and “Checkout”
